Bath Spa University are currently in the process of upgrading a number of buildings at their Newton Park Campus on the outskirts of the City of Bath. Phase 1 of these proposals is an academic building and associated landscape works providing improved facilities for students.
Illman Young were engaged by Skanska Construction to develop the planning drawings into a comprehensive suite of construction drawings.
Close liaison with the client’s design team was required to ensure that the construction package satisfied the planning conditions and maintained the high standards required.
Work involved the co-ordination of a number of elements including development of detailed planting plans in accordance with the Historic Landscape Heritage Plan.
